Dr. Emilie Verstraete

Dr. Verstraete grew up in East China Michigan and attended North Carolina State University where she graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Animal Science. She then attended veterinary school in the Caribbean at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, she work for a small animal practice in the suburbs of Chicago for 6 years before moving back to Michigan to be closer to family. She is very passionate for preventative care, surgery, dentistry and geriatric care. Dr. Verstraete prides herself on treating your pet as she would her own and partnering with you around your pets care.

Dr. Verstraete lives in an 1890s farm house in Memphis with her husband and daughter as well as their two cats Batman and Dequinder , a cocker spaniel named Dale and parson terrier named Chip. During her free time she enjoys camping, scuba diving, riding 4 wheelers, reading with her daughter, bon fires and spending time with family and friends.
