Lisa Manns | Practice Manager, Veterinary Assistant

Welcome to our clinic, I'm Lisa. I have worked for Lake Huron Veterinary Clinic as a Veterinary Assistant for over 21 years. I enjoy learning new things to help better care for your pet. I value working with families and their furry kids. My own family consists of my husband Kevin. Our son Zachary who attends SVSU,during breaks Zac works at the practice. We have one very lovable Pug named Mr. Pug. A very fuzzy Chow Chow named Beatrice. Mr Pug has been featured in the local newspaper on several occasions. He is the family "celebrity". That is probably why he doesn't come when he is called.

Joan Smith, LVT

Hi, my name is Joan! I'm a Licensed Veterinary Technician I've been in this field for many years, over 22 years to be exact, and still love it as much as the day I started. I graduated from Macomb Community College where I got my associates in Science and also received my Veterinary Technician license. I am married with one son. I have 8 cats, one is a foster that I've had for a long time and fear that she may become a permanent part of the family. I also have 2 dogs, 5 parakeets and a small farm of ducks, geese, chickens, turkey and a guinea hen. As you can imagine my family and pets take up a lot of my time but I also enjoy hiking and needle point when time allows.
